Sony vtc4
ohm/volt meter from local BandM
so...today i got home from fishing and was going to check my battery voltage..so screwed on my mod and fired it, nothing showed up on the meter and the batt vented..first time it has happened to it was quite nerve racking lol
but to the point, The meter must have shorted internally or the insulator on it had died. I took the mod apart to inspect the switch and the insulators, etc and that all checked out so all is well there. I went ahead grabbed a fresh battery threw it in the mod with an atty and it all runs great. nothing gets warm at all or anything of the sort. So the mod survived.
The point here is that cheapo B&M ohm volt meters are worthless i just went and got a ohm only meter and now just use my multi meter for batts, i was just lazy and paid for it.
I also am perfectly fine my hand didnt get injured at all. and the vent was actually very uneventful just nerve racking
comment i guess, but just some warning to not be like me and be lazy
