Hi Steve,

I've just found out that my M401 PT has been shipped!!! Thank you very much!:D I've been exercising the "patience of Job" (I'm not clear as to what he waiting for)!

I also just placed a large order through you but couldn't find carts anywhere. Does anyone make a "whistle tip" cart for the M401 PT and I'm also interested in a car adapter for the PT for those long drives?

Note: Sorry mods but I could figure out how to delete the poorly titled first thread!

No, the round tips are the only carts that i know to be available. You might be able to find a whistle tip type cigarette filter and modify that to be able to hold the inner cart, and maybe modify that so that it holds more juice.

As for the car adapter, any car -> USB type plug will work, but I'd highly suggest one that delivers at least .5A, if not 1-1.5A. .5A/500mah will provide the same amount of performance as a standard USB 2.0 socket, while 1-1.5 will be that of a USB power pack or "wall wart" type adapter.

Thanks a lot for the reply ruuku! I'm not much of a modder (a cervical spine injury has bolloxed up the fine motor control in my hands) so I quess I'll Just stick with the round one.

As for the car adapter, I already have one that meets the specs you mentioned so I'll be ready to go once the Prodigy PT gets here! Thanks again for the help! :D

Sure HK, no problem-one recommendation though, I would suggest using a mouthpiece without the cart, and just dip the atomizer into a contact lens case (or other small receptacle like a plastic soda/pop cap). Its less messy than dripping, and without the hassle of refilling the carts; though if you're driving then thats another story.

BTW what do you shoot? MK.23/USP?

Heckler & Koch Compact Combat .45 and Walther
PPS .40. I use the Walther for CCW because it is so thin and highly concealable. But, because it is so thin and light it kicks worse than the .45!!! 8-o

P.S. Because I use the HK45 for home defense I have it "tricked-out" with the usual hardware. Tritium night sights and rack mounted flashlight and laser. Hopefully, just the red dot on someone's chest would give them enough incentive to just leave!
