It has nothing to do with the device! It has to do with out of context statements that scares new members. It's just a scare statement with no relevance or benefit! There is already enough of that from ASH without you adding to it on this forum.

Well wouldnt it make sense for them to understand moderation as many here do not (not all). Explaining that he/she should use caution because of what they are dealing with I think is an appropriate stance.

Vaping is just like most else you do in your life. You weigh the pros and cons to make your decision. Providing info on a toxic, highly addictive substance (that I use as well) is an appropriate and responsible response. No flaming or exclamations needed.

Have you considered the fact that there is research suggesting that actual absorption rates of nicotine from vaping are significantly less from smoking an analog?

Knowledge is power.

Ugh..................

Again just because you dont get it in the amounts needed to kill you doesnt make it a less toxic substance. Thats all im saying. Please stop reading into it too much.

I'm giving you the same look right now that I gave all those "Truth" yokels trying to educate me on the fact that cigarettes could kill me.

You know the one.

On the other hand, I would be just delighted if one you you Prodigy users have some insight that could allow me to use the thing?
M

For one, the rumor is that be112's have thicker nichrome wire on the coil. That might effect the operating temperature. I know I *have* to do the straw-mod to the carts because high volt mods go through juice faster than the cart can wick it sometimes. I only use be112's with carts because of how great the cart to atomizer fit is on the be112. For dripping, I use regular dse801's on the prodigy. The one you get with it is a dse801.

To give you an idea as a 95 percent of the time cart user, I've never had a cart melt on me with a BE112, and I'm not just using them at 5V on the prodigy. I use them on my own 6V mods. In fact, I'm using one on a GG right now as I type this.

YOU PROVIDED NO INFO.!!! You just provided an "out of context" statement that helps no one. Get a clue!! You get MORE nicotine in cigarettes along with 40 known cancer causing substances and all you have to say is "nicotine is toxic" be careful vaping! Cars are toxic - they can kill you; oysters are toxic - they can kill you; weed killer is toxic - it can kill you; Where is my underground, air filtered shelter - I need to get in there and lock the door fast before I die!

Begining a sentence with the word "lol". There's a big clue.

Regardless, recent poll shows that the number of people using mods at least in the unscientific polls on this forum is approaching 20 percent, and growing daily. Lots of people aren't satisfied with lousy battery life and the 3.7v experience. And while I'm sure you meant well educating people on how to do something you've quite obviously never done, the learning curve for higher voltage vaping is not a steep one. It's somewhere between learning how to use a spoon, and learning how to operate a door knob.

Hope this helps.

don't know whether nic is toxic in the amounts we vape or not but the labeling on the totally wicked boxes for their liquid don't help.

"toxic by inhalation"

definitely gave me a scare till i talked myself down and realized it is still less than what i was inhaling before from an analog cig.

just sayin'

oh, just wanted to add that i just put in an order for a super t!!! yeah baby.

Any three of those would be a huge improvement over typical e-cig batteries. Your decision should also focus on form factor, safety and style. Unfortunately, most of those listed are backordered either because they are produced in low volume or there are many orders yet to be filled.

Do you want a device that provides similar voltage to a typical e-cig battery (3.7 volts) yet with a longer run time? Are you interested in high-voltage vaping (5+ volts)? Do you want a device capable of running at different voltages (i.e. 3.7 v & 6v)?

Just in case you are not aware, consider looking at these devices as well.

AdapteveR - http://www.adaptever.com/product.sc?categoryId=1&productId=1
Super T1 - Super T Manufacturing

I am laying my DIY modded devices to rest upon arrival of my Super T1 for the 801 atomizer. Between that an the DSE601 e-pipe, I should be satisfied for a long time (fingers crossed).

WOW
im getting one now...
with adjustable draw...
HOW COOL IS THAT !!!!

I have a touch of arthritis in my hands and some people have carpal tunnel syndrome.

So what I and some others have to take into consideration when we buy one of these PVs, among other things already mentioned, is how easy or how hard it is to change the batteries and adapter head. Sometimes you don't know this until after you buy it and use it.

It can be quite painful when changing batteries or the adapter head if the threaded connection is difficult to do. A lot of this depends on the location of the connection and also the size of the threads.

For this reason, my best purchases have been the Screwdriver and the Silver Bullet. I also have the Super T on preorder and it looks like a nice and easy threaded connection, but I won't know until I get it.

I am considering getting one of these three, but thought I would get your all's advice first.

1) I'm not into dripping, prefer a cart.
2) Prefer the 801 atty
3) SB sold out no indications when available again
4) Screwdriver sold out at TW should be in soon:oops:
5) Prodigy says it takes 2-3 weeks to ship:mad: (Seems awfully long)

So, given these conditions, what would your recommendations be?

Thanks again!

I am hesitating to order a prodigy b/c when I drip w/the 510, I swear it only lasts for a few drags, and it just makes dripping too time consuming and inconvenient.

I'm not looking for an all day sucker on just a few drops, but I'm a heavy puffer - I don't inhale them all, but I like the taste and the vapor, so I keep 2 - 510's beside me so they don't get too hot.

Can someone give me a ballpark idea of how many drops = how many drags. I know my mileage will vary, since we all draw a differently, but if I have to drip a couple drops every few minutes, that's not going to work for me.

I've noticed a lot of ppl use the Prodigy with either a 801 or a 901 as opposed to the 510. Is that because the 510 just hasn't been around as long, or is there a flavor/hit/vapor difference?

The only ecigs I have are used 510's (I did make the usual newbie mistake of 'must look like a cig'...but let's not go there) but would I be better off to order a prodigy with an 801 or 901 adapter and just buy different attys, or is it dumb to waste what I already own?

I've asked quite a few questions about the prodigy in the last few days, and I'm driving myself nuts with this indecisiveness. I'm ready to place an order and get on with it already.8-o

I dont think the 510 is a good dripper either for the reasons you mention. Is too time consuning. 801 IMO is the best for dripping. I drip about 4 or 5 drops and get Id say about 8-10 good hits off it before needing more.

AS far as what device to use Id go with high voltage than the 3.6 and see what you think.

I agree. The Prodigy seems almost to be made to use the 801 which holds the most juice whether you drip or use a cart. Actually, I would suggest trying the BE112 atomizer which is a different 801 from BestEcigs.com. It is a great atomizer for dripping.
