I'm fairly new to vaping, so any help would be appriciated. I want to buy a prodigy, but was wanting some advice as to which atty/adapter to go with.

I love flavor and vapor. I hate carts, only drip and I use 36mg strength.

not trying to start an atty war, just wondering if one is more suited to my vaping style than another.

Thank you, in advance for any help.

My honest opinion is part bias, and part observation.

901 drippers seem to kill their atty's on the Prodigy because they are used to pushing it at 3.7v to get the hit/flavor they want.

510's appear to be VERY robust on the Prodigy, but I think I'd go insane having to add two drops every two minutes.

the 801 is king, holds 3-4 drops, gives insane flavor, throat hit, and warmth because of the increased voltage, and appears to be more durable than any other atomizer at high voltage while holding the most juice. For dripping or carts, the 801 appears to be the clear choice at high voltage.

I agree - the 801.

I have both 801 and 901 attys, and with a 5V PV, I prefer the 901 because it enables you to take drags that are very similar to an "analog-style" 1-2 second draw that delivers flavor and packs a punch. Getting a similar "hit" with an 801 atty seems to require a significantly longer draw.

Having to take long draws always seemed annoying and unnatural to me (compared to the experience of smoking an analog), but if you like that -- or don't think you can kick the long-draw habit now -- then the 801 may be the safer choice.

I recommend that you buy BOTH the 801 and 901 adapters so you can make your own decision.

Actually, the shorter 2-second draw may also be kinder to the attomizer since the short draw should theoretically avoid over-heating. I am using 510 on my Prodigy and I am still on the same atty I was on before I got Prodigy. I really like the fact that with the Prodigy you DON'T HAVE TO take long draws.

Spot on Zof

I'm only dripping now with the 510 and 801. I am SO done with using carts!

Would you mind explaining why?

I know the prod is juice hog, but the thing that bothers me most about the devices I use primarily (510 and 801) is that you constantly have to add juice, carts or not. I hate that the only device that doesn't need to be accompanied by a dropper bottle is the dse 601 pipe. I dont know whats more annoying: having to carry around multiple batts and a dropper for my 510s or the big ... pipe. If only there was a way to minimize the number of top offs (besides vaping less :)), I would be a much happier vaper...

Have you ever seen one of those ball caps that has a can holder on each side with vinyl tubing that runs from the bottom of the can into your mouth? I think something like that needs to go into R & D for heavy vapers. I'm thinking that 500ml of juice on each side with a vacuum line directly into the atomizer would suit me for one good days worth of vaping. If PureSmoker wants to patent that idea, I'll step out of the way for the good of all the other vapers.

I prefer the convenience of dripping rather than fussing with carts and fillers and the flavor comes through better when dripping.

I just figure it's a law of nature: 510/801 on a 5 volt creates *huge* vapor, and that vapor has to come from somewhere besides the air...thus they really suck thru the juice. Until someone brilliant comes up with an non-cart auto-feed system that really works, adding liquid frequently is simply the place that I find myself. I might be perverse, but I actually find pleasure in emptying out a bottle of liquid--perhaps it assuages some of my guilt at having such a huge stash built up.
