So far out of the videos I have watched, most everyone are using standard atty's but just making sure the atty stay's wet.
GrimmGreen did find a HV atty and in his review said it ran a bit cooler. Maybe that will last longer than a standard atty. Check out GrimmGreen's review on youtube.

5v is indeed the sweet spot. A fresh charged V2 is stronger than VP Passthrough plugged into the wall yet the VP popped two high volt atties I had. Pop as in straight up dead. They leak like crazy and they suck in my opinion. Been running standard 510 atties on both the V2 and VP PT and they are running awesome. Also the atties never got as hot as it used to when I used 3.7 simply because I had to chain vape at 3.7

Well, i'm planning on buying a prodigy V2 from e-cigs.co.uk (if they ever get them back in stock that is), and i was wondering if i needed to order some high voltage atty's to go with it, seen a few posts with people complaining that their regular 510 atty's get blown when using 5v. Is that a common occurence or what?

Ehh. Any Atomizer can blow out at anytime you just dont know. I just blew a HV901 only after a week of use on my V2 and my stock 901 is still going strong. I like the Stock 901 better overall as well cause its a bit warmer vape which to me brings abit more flavor out too. I'm just sticking with good ole stock versions. I think the HV atomizers would be better suited for mods when using using dual 3.6 or 3.7 batts.

Rather than buying a HV510 just use a 901. I burnt out two 510's on a 5v by not paying attention - so used to the 3.7v mod to where you don't have to ;-) Now I use cartos and the 901 on the 5volt w/no problem. I find that much better and I think the resistance rating is close to the same as the 510HV atty. Can't vouch for the 6 or 7.2v mods, but I'm thinkinig a 510 would be out of the question and that one may need HV 901's for them.
