Prodigy v3 adapter issue

After going through my first (510) adapter i received the advice not to screw down the atty to hard. I took the advice but have since gone through 2 more. Any ideas?

What size atty are you using (ohm) and what voltage are you vaping at?

2 LIFEPO4 3.2 volt batteries

... the atty was not designed for 6 volts. 3 or 3.5 Ohm atties will see you further

issue is with the adapters. Atty's are fine.

In that case it looks to me like you are pushing (the adapter is pushing) the centre post of the atty causing it to short out. The original recommendation of do not screw them in all the way was sound. Since that doesn't help a new adapter may be in order. OTOH my eGo megas meter at 2.2Ohm and I do not use 'em over 3.7V
