Profile pic does not show up when posting

I am embarrassed to even ask, but I have uploaded my profile image. It is a 150 x 150 pixels, 6.83 KB (8.00 KB Size on disk). I can see it in my settings and profile, but it does not post when I post or replay. What mind-bogglingly stupid thing am I doing or not doing?

if you want it to display next to posted, go to settings and load picture to avatar.
