profile pic?

I know this is a major noob question.. but how do you set your profile picture

Click on "Settings" at the top right of any page. Find "Edit Profile Picture" in the left column. Click on that and follow the directions.

Hi LR, no worries my friend, we all had to learn too when we first started!

Do you see where your username is listed at the top portion of the screen? You will also see 'My Profile' and 'Settings' ... select Settings and that will take you to another screen where down on the left hand side you will see a section labeled 'My Settings'. Under that section there is an option to 'Edit Profile Picture'; from there you can either upload a pic from your computer or input a remote url where you have a pic that can be accessed.

Just to clarify, your profile picture will only be visible when people click on your profile page. If you want to update the picture that displays when you post, that is your avatar.

Funny, I posted the same thing today. I finally found the "avatar" section and now I am looking at my sad faced pit bull mix as I post!

Been there, updated it, spent about 30 minutes trying to work out why nobody else could see it.
