click on "settings" on the very, very top nav bar.
Then scroll down on the left you'll see a "my settings" box where you can specifiy both your avatar and profile pic.

Oh cool thank you! I got that taken care of now where is it? It wont display when I write.

The avatar is the pic the displays on posts and the profile pic is the one that just displays on your profile page.
