Well I am making progress. Amazing how many things I have been able to goof up trying to get this program going. ha. Managed to pretty well ruin my sample kit by buring up cartomizers so I ordered some more cartomizers and an extra 520 battery so I could keep trying. fun part is I forgot to order the e liquid, so I had to go back the next day and order that. Just ordered a sample pack of five small bottles different flavors to try to get an idea what I liked. Got a lot of good info re e liquid re previous post. I will advise what the ones I get taste like. If I don't burn the whole thing up again. ha
I did get a five pack of cartomizers so that will at least take a little longer to mess up. I am old and slow but I am learning. onward through the fog?

Are you using manual batteries? They are sealed on the end so a juice leak shouldn't kill them.

Cartos - I use soft-caps. Shake and open the eliquid. I pop out the carto top and hold a tissue on the threaded end. I hold it at an angle and drip the juice into the stuffing and try to rotate it to get all sides. You can count drops or go slow and see how much it will take. When done, I make sure the threaded end is dry, then puff into the threaded end a bit to clear the air channel and make sure I can see light through the air channel. Cap it and lay it down for a bit so the juice can distribute and get to wherever the atomizer is in there.

When I first try it, if it seems dry I stop! I rotate and tilt it and try to distribute the juice and it it really needs it I add more. If it works but sputters hot liquid out the mouth hole or is too wet and not vaporizing well, I pop the top, dry it, puff into the battery end again, see if any juice is puddled on the inner metal above the stuffing (a pointed tissue can clean that a bit).

As I use it, if the vapor drops off or tastes funny I top off with juice, puff through the battery end, etc.

The people here will pull you over the hump. Just ask and they will deliver. Good luck.

Yes I have got a lot of help already. Wish I had found this forum before I messed up my first order. ha. Now I am trying to find out more about cartomizers. Got five new ones and don't want to mess them up trying to learn. From what I can tell so far I take the needle and put the e liquid in the end. then how does the liquid get to the heating element? I am watching videos and reading, I will find out.

Yes I am using the manual batteries. the cartomizers I got today have a little plastic hole inside and the instructions say to put the needled in that hole. I will see if I can attach that picture.

Well I cannot get it to paste so will see if I can get the link for the item here.
eGo Cartomizers
If you click on the small thumbs under the picture you can see the set of instructions I am going by.?

Glad to see you on here still!
You'll get it, he'll were all still learning in one way or the other. I just got the tank system today, and I've had a learning curve from that, it will take me a few days to get the hang og it.
So far I absolutely LOVE IT!
No more little pieces of toilet paper everywhere soaking up all of my leaks from the cartridges.
You're doing great learning about, and using/refilling the cartomizer's. I gave them two shots, and gave up. I ended up using attys/carts, and also ended up wearing as much juice as I was vaping!
If I had just kept on with the cartomizer's, I wouldn't have wasted so much juice that I felt it would actually save me money to buy the darn tank systems!

I would highly suggest that you get some Boge soft tip cartomizers. You don't need needles,
syringes or anything like that. Very, very simple to fill right from your juice bottle and takes
about 15 seconds.
Also here is a coupon list for discounts. It may help on your next order. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...iscussion/146219-coupon-code-master-list.html
Get those Boge....you won't be sorry!!! Us oldies need it simple!!!

Ok question, will those cartomizers work on the 510 ego? 10/4 on needing it simple. I am a Texas grandpa, with eight grandkids and one great grandkid. sheesh. how did that happen?
