As you can see in the pic, the post slot needs to be turned towards the wick so the leg will lay right in the slot. Anyone know how to do this? I can't move it at all with a screwdriver. This is causing hot legs something bad because of the extra leg length.... any ideas?

Yes needs to be turned so the slot is lined up with the wicks

The first thing that you need to do is find out how the slotted part of the post is attached to the deck itself. One would assume that its slipped over a stud, which is then itself mounted on the deck, so that the slotted piece is mounted over it.

This would be the ideal.

Look at the bottom of the deck (pics would be great). Lots of time you can see where and how the posts are mounted on the deck. This will let you know what and how you can move the posts.

Anyways, as long as the slotted part of the post isnt permanently soldered to the deck, you should be able to move it. You will need:

1) Needlnose pliers
2) 2 Rags

Put a rag or napkin over the post so that the pliers wont scratch the atty. Use the other rag to give you a good grip on the bottom o the atty.
Twist the post into position.

Unless the slotted portion is soldered to the deck, this will fix it. It is going to be a constant issue, though.
Hopefully you can tighten it down somehow.

As I said, pics would help troubleshooting this issue.

Let me know how it goes

doesnt the post screw in from the bottom? then the atty itself can be disassembled, once the top deck is off the main post might be able to turn.

in this pic you can see the post set into the main tube, I do not know if the clone is built the same way but trying to turn it while assembled means your fighting the already tightened post screw. as the post screw bolts into the pos post holding the whole thing together
