Hey guys, I'm pretty new to vaping BTW other than an occasional analog here and there (about 2 a week) I've broke my habit and have been mostly smoke free since the 20th of December!!! I have (2) authentic AW IMR 18650 1600 mah batteries. Recently I've discovered ALOT of things that you should not do with your batteries that I've been doing all along. For one, I've dropped each of them a couple times, never really thought much of it, and obviously they are fine as I still have my face (don't worry I inspected them for visible damage) also I do charge them after not completely discharging them, I MAY have over discharged them a couple times NOT SURE. I will be investing in a voltmeter. One thing that happens ALOT, they get ejuice in the two little holes on the top (I have a billow, for a while I had it to where it wouldn't leak, but now I can't figure out what I did) I know this probably should NOT happen and I feel stupid for letting it happen. I have the trustfire 2 battery charger I think it's a tr1000 or something like that. Sometimes a yellow or orange light comes on. Also I'm not sure why but my batteries charge VERY fast, like within 30 minutes... I'm guessing that means I'm not using them completely? I usually use them for about 8 hours at work, not constant vaping probably taking 10 hits every 30 minutes with a .7 ohm dual coil build and today with a .4 ohm build.
Now to the point, could someone PLEASE give me a bunch of tips on proper care of my batteries? I've heard to let them rest, and not to leave them in the charger even with protection. But I need a list, that way the next pair of batteries I buy I can get the most out of them.
I've looked all over for tips and what not but most of the tips I found were for ego style batteries or whatever, I think this could be a good informational thread.
Thanks guys
