Mixed myself a batch of my own version of our current recipe for Spiced Apple Cider. And by gawd, it was AWESOME! So, I'd like to lay it on you! For the week of 12/13 through 12/19 the *NEW* Spiced Apple Cider will be on special in addition to the usual 4 specials.

This will have its own listing next to the regular Spiced Apple Cider.

This may or may not replace the old recipe and become the new Spiced Apple Cider. This all depends on the reviews.

So, come Monday, the new recipe will be ready!

Enjoy!

Well, if I doled out proportions, everybody would have a recipe and wouldn't be much point in us having a company! Let's just say, I made an actual batch of spiced apple cider (yes, the real stuff) and the e-liquid I mixed for myself, tasted exactly the same.

I WILL say, I added more of this, less of that, and some things that were missing. :D

Might have to try this. When I tried the original Granny Smith version, I wasn't wild about it the other day. I probably should have ordered it sweetened, so I sweetened it up and will come back to it. Still...the new one is kinda compelling.

Probably what people are asking for, Geoff, is not so much a recipe or something they could glean one from, is a comparison of the old and new to help them decide whether or not to try it. It is clever to not provide it as inducement to try it for oneself, though, now that I think about it....:p

That is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.

I gotta say I ordered Spiced Apple Cider a couple weeks ago, and got it candy apple w/ sweetner added and it is identical to the real deal. I work at a fresh market where we have mulled cider out all of the time, and I along with others cannot believe how spot-on this flavor is compared to any others, including TV. Please keep the old recipe available even if just for request.

Holy CRAP Geoff! This stuff is SO FRIGGIN GOOD!! I've had the bottle for about three hours and have refilled my carto three times already. I don't know what the "old" stuff is like but this new stuff is probably the best TV flavor I've gotten in a while and that's saying something since I like just about everything you make. Good job on this one! Time to bring on the DOUBLERS!!

The bubble gum taste is still there in mine but I like it. I've refilled the same carto six times and now I'm getting a stronger sense of the spices (definitely cinnamon, clove an possibly a little nutmeg). I can't say that I can peg down the "apple" flavor but any mulled/spiced cider I've ever drunk has never retained a whole lot of the original apple flavor either.

Nutmeg, that might be what we are mistaking for gum! I like that it is a strong flavor. Ok the clove is coming through now too. I wish I could stop I am getting lightheaded. lol

LMAO, the same thing happened to me the first time too! The same thing happens to me when I vape TV gingerbread which has a VERY heavy nutmeg flavor. I read somewhere about kids getting high on nutmeg. I wonder if it is the culprit??
