Pro's and Con's to a Brick and Mortar shop?

How can a successful product like this go untapped by the mainstream businessman?

I'm obviously just poking around but why the lack of actual stores and as stated 'brick and mortar' shops??

They're popping up all over the country, the brick and mortar shops, but you must realize that the government, Medical arena and big tobacco companies are fighting us tooth n nail to legislate and regulate this up and coming phenomenon. They want to get their greedy little hands in the pot.

If yer talking bout Reosmods Dano, I think its because Rob wants to ensure the very best of quality for all of us. To do that then an internet outlet will provide the best venue. As you may have seen its hard enough for him to stock a lot of the different mods so without proper quality assurance it would be hard for him to expand at this point. Also, he gets a lot of referrals and help from the members here (nut a bad thing). He also gets to see most all if any problems so can modify production or bring out a new mod if need be. Keeping in touch with your customer base is a really good way in producing a good quality product.

There are brick and mortars popping up everywhere, but as has been mentioned, e-cigs and e-cig products are such a new industry.... they're doing it against the odds that they won't be crushed out of business once the FDA figures out how to do it.

I live in a town that has about 6 brick and mortars that sell nothing but e-cigarettes. Vapor Kings has three stores in my area (Tulsa, OK)...and are opening another one in Stillwater, OK in early February. I go there a lot. (They have vape lounges where we can just get together, test juices, and socialize. It's awesome.) They are making money hand over fist. They have been an on-line business for about 4 years now, and have had the stores for a year and a half or so. They have grown every single month....the main store has expanded twice already. They're catching on. It's just slow going for a brand new industry.

Yes, Roger....they are the same. AND....we save postage by buying locally. However, we DO have to pay sales taxes. We can test the product before we buy it. Their best prices are for their Joye LR and SR 510 attys @10 for $46.95. I get that price at the store...and no shipping. Actually, they have a few things in the stores that they don't have on line....maybe something new they haven't had a chance to list on line, or mods that they've contracted for but don't sell online.

It's a pretty slick operation....people, people, people. At the main store, they have at least 8 employees on at any given time, and they all stay busy all the time. There are whole companies who send their employees in. They have many police officers who buy from them. There are doctors and nurses who buy from them and send their co-workers in. They have Loyalty Cards that give customers discounts. Booming business. There are 2-3 others vape stores in the area, but by far Vapor Kings dominates. They have radio spots, and have had a spot on the local news. There's more happening at the local level than you would think. Their online sales (I believe) still outweigh their in-store sales.

Yes, it is. It's a family business....the whole family is involved. Rob and Michelle run the Sand Springs store and the on-line stuff, the brother-in-law runs the Tulsa store, the father-in-law runs the Sapulpa store. The kids and nieces and nephews work in the stores. I've gotten to know the whole family practically, and they are awesome people.
