Hey all!

I'm a regular smoker, not much more than a pack a day, though, for about 4 years now. I've heard a lot about these e-cigs, and am interested in switching over.

My real concern is over the draw and smoke, er, vapor production. I want something with an easy draw and a lot of smoke. I tried an e-cig at the mall recently, but couldn't get the hang of it before the saleslady took it back from me. I noticed the drag was hard, though, like pulling through a twisted straw. I didn't enjoy that, but I'd still like to give Vaper a chance.

Any recommendations or advice? Anything would be appreciated.

PS - Money is a concern for me, as a broke full-time student. Heh.

Yup, I totally recomend a 901... I'm still new to vaping and this thing is great! Decent vapor, Decent throat hit and your dont have to draw the hell outta it to achive a nice hit. I do have to say that you dont hit e-cigs like a normal cig, but you get the hang of it in a days time easy... lemmie check a good site for ya to order you one!

Better price then I got mine for and I really like it A LOT!

I bought my first e cig a smoke everywher four weeks ago. While it go me through it wasn't much. I wouldn't recommend one.

I got my 510's from innovapor, and they are wonderful. They have a manual battery, that is easy to use. They shipping was slow but I am very satisfied with the performance of the 510. I find it easy to draw and the amount of vapor is good.

By the way I smoked two packs a day and have not picked up a real cig in four weeks. My family is much happier also.

I'd have to recommend a 510 ...Rocky Mountain Vapor if in stock has fast free shipping. The easiest draw you'll get is IMO... using the 510 flat-tipped carts and dripping rather than using stuffed carts. That's what I have recently begun doing and it's way too awesome :p For more vapor use the VG rather than PG juice... I'm a big vapor person and I get plumes of it with my VG mixes... order juice when you order your e-cig, those pre-filled carts they come with are horrible and dont last long

Wanted to add... be sure you get a manual battery, that is a must trust me and if you can swing it two things... a PCC if you're out alot and a USB passthrough if you're on the computer vaping alot... it's a must have!

Go for it!!!!
I tried everything to stop smoking......with all the bans of smoking at public places and the tax going up I really wanted to quit smoking but was not ready yet. I saw E-cigs placed a order for a 901 and BAM!! I swear one puff and I knew I could stop and would not want another analog again. I admit I got into my pack of smokes and try a cig the other day and it was bad.....the taste, the smell, the way it drags you down ick. I crave the vape now. I can describe it like this and how easy it was for me. You know when a cig company comes out with a new cig blend and you love it and you say to yourself......This is my brand now, I am only going to buy that brand from now on......its as easy as that!!

901 and 510 are both really good PV's Aphotic. Before you make a purchase though, spend A LOT of time with the search function on this forum and read, read, read.

Some folks take to vaping like fish to water and others don't really figure it out, well, ever it seems.

Any way, due diligence, then some questions, then a bit more research will make your intro into vaping much easier. Whatever you decide on, there are always folks here that can answer your questions or point you in the right direction.

Welcome

I have both the 510 and the 901 and I have to say they are both great. With the manual battery on the 510 you can really get a good long vape, but the draw seems a little harder to me.The 901 has a much easier draw but the auto batt cut off is a bit short for my taste. The easy draw also lends itself to sucking a nice bit of fluid through the mouthpiece when the cart is full.Am awaiting some manual batts for the 901,that should rock.

I went through a lot of sites before i found one in a style that i liked (hey looks are important too) :) anyway, i got mine from lite-cig usa they have really great tech support e-mails get answered very quickly. My experience (while limited) was a pleasent one through them. I have the m402 its a mini so its close in size to a normal cig which i love. The carts they came with have too much of a throat hit though, i have heard some people get used to it though.

I will say though i only got this kit 4 days ago, i am super happy with it at this point but it is hard to truely say its great becuase i havent had it long enopugh for anything to go wrong yet.

Thanks all! The advice has been awesome! And the community here is so impressive here.

I've decided to go for it. I just ordered the 510-manual and am waiting in anticipation. I also got a PCC. XD This is gonna take so loooong to get here!

One further question, with e-liquid, wheres the best place to get a sample pack? I want to try a bunch of different flavorings, but can't spend 65$ for something like EMI's kit, though their flavors are exactly the kind of selection I'm looking for.

myfreedomsmokes.com but their site is down for me right now. They have a 6 and 12 flavor sampler pack. I just got my order in from them today and I esp. like the hilton - to where I just ordered a bigger batch. Their PG base is _very_ good. Other flavors that I liked - camel, marlboro, virginia, (all standard light tobacco base with flavors added) smooth, no bite. I also got cappuccino (doesn't stand up to Janty's but nothing has so far) and coffee - both are good and actually taste like coffee. Caramel, decent. Chocolate, I haven't found a good one yet and I'd pass on this one - double strength even. I found the double strength were that, but I still liked the 11mg hilton, camel, virginian, better and wish I would have tried the flue cured now. I'm guessing it is good. Unfortunately the 'new' tennessee cure from Johnson Creek is either going back or I'll sell it. Not the same - nowhere near. So I'm looking for a flue cured flavor.
