Hello. I just got VTR and tried to use my protank 2 on it. Before using VTR i was using MVP2 without much issues.

Now when i put my tank on vtr and screw it all the way down there is barely any draw. I tried to unscrew it just a bit but it doesn't help much. I have to unscrew it few circles to get it going but then tank rattles. Also I noticed that with VTR my tank leaks from 510 connector. Didn't happen with MVP2 or maybe it did but not to this degree. Any thoughts?

wow. weird. i barely able to get anything inhaled its so tight. strange
Did you try the Aero air flow control base on the PT2. You can adjust the air flow to get the draw you like. Most vendors are sold out of these Aero base but you can get them at Home - KangerTech US, LLC

The aero base replaces the PT2 base and stops gurgling and leaking. I have been using it for a month and it is great.

something I noticed with different coils on my PT2 was the color of the gasket that separates positive from negative. I have two (originally 2.5 ohm) coils that have an off white colored gasket, and haven't had any issues. My, originally 1.8 ohm, coil has a grey'ish gasket, and if I screw that thing down to just barely noticing it being snug, it pushes the tip of the coil up and squishes the gasket out, and I can barely get a draw through it.

Something to check out.
