Protank 2 question...

I just picked up a Protank 2 today for my MVP. So far I like it a lot. But I noticed whenever I go above 3.9v my mvp shuts off. I am using the stock 2.5ohm head the protank came with. Is this an auto shutoff? I am confused because my iclear 30 would let me go all the way to 5v.

Maybe a loose wire in the atty? I have several PT II/III and never had that issue. Did you ramp up the atty when you first installed it?
Let it sit for 5 - 10minutes. Start at low voltage (ex. 3.0 - 3.2). Pulse it quickly. Do this several times and slowly ramp up the voltage to desired level. This ensure that you don't pop the coil.
