sorry, still new, what do you mean twisting the wire? 30+ years?

no choc_addic, never seen one like that. wish i knew how to send a picture. i use 1 single peaces of wire for each coil, wrap around a 1/16" peice of wire, insert 3 strands of cotton wick through each coil, insert 1st coil and place 2 strands of cotton on top, then insert 2nd coil with cotton wick on top, replace chimney,and test.

Yes. Okay. Essentially you have to think this way.

You have a lot of wire to heat up before the liquid starts to vaporize. So it's gets warmer before its gets hotter. You are also using up battery power more in doing so.

Yes, It will feel hotter (the whole tank) as compare to single coil head which heat up faster and gets to producing vaper sooner and will cool down faster (won't get the tank hot - may be warm).

Simple physic!

Might be able to reduce heating up by trying micro coil, but it will still get warm.
