Don't believe Kanger has begun rolling out spare parts yet, probably just trying to get all the PT2's out and deal with "Mini-PT2-Gate". I would expect to see parts available relatively soon, until then protect that glass! :p
What is this Mini-PT2-Gate scandal you are talking about? I am out of the loop!

Mini-PT's were supposed to have removable tips, all the pictures/info supplied to dealers stated it, then when they arrived they were fixed tips, similar to original Mini-PT.

...... alotta people off, im sure.

I've taken mine apart many times and haven't had any problems with leaks - ever...

Same here.....Just make sure the o-rings are in place - top and bottom - when you re-assemble...
And DON'T OVER-TIGHTEN!! TOO tight, and you're apt to compress the o-rings....resulting in leaks!!
I love my PT2...and plan to order a couple of PT2 Minis...as soon as I'M SURE they're coming with a removable drip-tip!!!;)

I found the biggest problem was finding a place that kept a stock of the glass tubes, every place I checked were "Sold Out" and if it was available, you were limited as to how many you could buy!!!!! Then I found this!...

Appreciate that Nini. Just about ready to make the jump to the PTII. And thanks for your like!

I'd like to find somewhere that has the rubber gaskets, haven't had any issues, but you never know. The PTII is great! I have 4 of them. Totally dis-assembles to clean, I don't do my own coils, yet, but I find the usual 1 in 5, 1-10 of the Kanger Tech coils are funky and have to be messed with a bit.

The positive post silicone grommet at the bottom of the Protank coil still remains a problem. Some are using the silicone top post insulators from the Genesis style atomizers as a substitute. I have a supply and will try them soon. At first glance they don't seem as secure as the hard silicone originals.

You should go ahead and take a stab at rebuilding one NiNi. The wick options out there can make for much better flavor. I'm testing cotton lamp wick on a mech and a zMax now. It's superb. And women have much better fine finger muscle control than men. You might find it easier than you think.

Very interested in this thread. Hope others will jump in with any suggestions and sources.

p.s. A 32AWG, 6/5 1.75mm i.d. (2mm Sil.), tight not micro) = 2.2Ω is about the best overall vape for flavor and vapor I've tried among dozens of variants of wire for the PT and PT "no glue" which should be very similar to PTII. Wick, another story.

:)

I REALLY need to! Time constraints, urgh! Used to make fishing flies just for fun (have all these feathers and fur from my creature heads) so I think it'd be pretty easy to set up and get started IF I could get my stuff together! Hoping by January, everything chills out to a dull roar and I can go for it!:)
