Just looking for feedback from anyone using this topper setup. How's the airflow with the base? Besides the tank size, any reason to get this combo over a Kanger Aerotank?

Thank you.
I have both the protank 2 and aerotank v2. Both have the new air adjustment on them with the 5 holes. It realy made the protank 2 so much better adding the air but it does add length to the tank. The pro tank runs a bit lower with the single coil so batteries last a touch longer and the protank has a cooler vape. If I dod not already have the protank I would have just bought 2 aerotanks. Also like the look of the matte finish vs the polished on the protank. So if you want a cooler vape and coils that are a touch cheaper then go protank. Also please note that the air adjustment is meant for an aerotank so it will be a touch two tone.

I have a Protank 2, and was able to find the air control ring (version1) at one of my local vape stores for $4.

Admittedly, the v1 air ring isn't quite as open as the V2 that comes on the aerotanks, or the newest variety with multiple holes in a line... but it was in front of me, and it was $4.

Money well spent. I can still use the same coils that I've got, and the singles are cheaper and easier to rebuild (if that is your thing). And you already have the Protank 2... most of the tank parts are the same from pro to aero, with the excepton of machining for a longer coil.

Cost benefit time... Do you want a backup tank? Can you get a cheap air ring? Do you want to be able to say you're rocking dual coil?

IMO, the add-on for the protank is cheaper and at least 90% as good as buying a whole new rig.

I put the air flow control bases on all of my protank 2 and 3's. It stopped the spitting and gurgling problems I was having and it keeps my center posts spotless. I run the single coils in them as well. I tried the duals when they first came out and didn't care for them at all. I have the Areotank Mega and have been using it for the past 3 weeks. I said I would use it until it needed a coil change just to see how long it would last. It's a juice hog. It has almost doubled my daily juice consumption and drastically cut my battery life. I'm not sure it makes enough difference in the vapor and flavor production to justify the added cost and hassle.

Just a note the v1 can spin and move on it's own fairly easy. Though that version does match the protank better since it has about the same finish. The 2 versions of the v2 are much better air control if that is what you are after. myvaporstore sells all 3 Click link below to see them.

Just wanted to chime in and say make sure to get the V2, I've had a couple of the V1 aero tanks and the flow control bit falls apart. It's just pressed together so once it's gone, you can fix it by tapping it back together, but it wont me as tight. Both of my V1 flow controls are beyond repair so I've had to replace them with the V2s.
