I love my ProTanks, they're a great vape, with a little work. The issue with them is usually gurgling and bad air flow. What kind of battery would you be using with it? They work fine on a stock Ego style battery, but are better with a twist style or a VV/VW mod, so you can dial in the volts/watts for flavor and vapor. They're a little awkward on a ego-style battery, as they make it very top heavy.
They're the same as the T2s, as you can replace/rebuild the heads on them, if you're okay with that, then the ProTank is a solid choice. If you don't want to fiddle, maybe not. There's quite a few tutorials to explain how to rebuild them. Or, if you just want to buy stock heads, that's fine too.
Their best feature is they're glass, so you don't have to worry about them getting ruined by certain juices - and they're easy to take apart and clean.
They're definitely a step up from what you're using - I started with similar, and they're a much better performer, in my opinion. Some people stick with T2s, as T2s deliver what they want and need - if you just want to try new gear, I think you'll enjoy a ProTank. I find they give a better throat hit, and better vapor than a T2 style. They look good, too - the plating on them is high quality, they stay nice and shiny.
Mine are the newer ones, which can use a standard 510 drip tip, which is a bonus, some people don't like the metal tip that comes with it.
Again, I love mine, and use them daily, cycling between them and a carto
tank or two (I've been cycling between my mini and two cartos today, lol)
