Protank 3 And Protank 2 Mini rebuild options

I am looking to rebuild my protank 3 and protank 2 mini. I have searched and looked for info on this. All I can find is what size wire everyone is using. What size silica wick is everyone using? I am going to get some cotton and try that also. I will probably be getting 30awg wire to use.

I like to use 32 gauge in my Aerotank build, I used the twisted method and it performs pretty good for me with Cotton.

Thanks I will definitely pick up some 32 gauge as well as 2 and 3mm silica wick. I am also going to try cotton. I am currently using a pt3 with a aerotank base and its helped a ton with leaking. I will try and pics of what I build.

I rebuild my protank 3 with single micro coils. 30 gauge Kanthal and regular cotton. Right about 2 ohms

Zach much has changed in the past year since the introduction of the microcoil and new methods on how to improve it and make them efficiently have been adapted in recent months.

Built my first micro coil/cotton mini pt2 last night . Mmmmm. Night and day difference from stock coils. I used 30 gauge coming in at 1.7 ohms.

Actually building coils is pretty fun as long as you have a few if the right tools.
