Protank 3 Coil Rebuilds

If there's already a discussion for this I aplogize, just please link it. At first I didn't want to do this, because it seemed like a big pain but it's really simple - I just wanted some opinions on how to do it. I've already ordered some 32AWG kanthal and 3mm silica wick, just waiting for them to arrive. The tutorial I watched said to wind the coils really tight with no spaces, unlike the stock coils, but I like this because it puts the coils further from the metal and lowers the chance of a short circuit. The stock ones seem pretty cheap though, just sections of coil with legs soldered/welded on. I also saw someone suggest a vertical coil rebuild in that tank, I mean you could turn it into a mini quad coil if you really wanted to.

I was also wondering what's better between cotton or silica wick, I would assume the silica would withstand higher temps

PT coils are relatively easy once you get the hang of it. Built my own coils for over a year, but I must warn you......it doesn't stop there. Been using the Kayfun Lite and building coils for that, Back to the PT coils, I prefer cotton, easy, accessible, and pretty consistent.

Thanks, I also just watched a you tube vid on this and that style seems like the best one. The atomizer also has a lot smaller chance of flooding with this build.
