seems that i am getting a burnt taste every couple puffs off my new pro tank 3. its not every single time which leads me to believe its not a bad coil, i was wondering if anyone else is having trouble with wicking. and stupid me i tore apart the other coil it came with in an attempt to better understand it. will be getting more coils tomorrow, just wondering what you guys thought the problem may be.

Are your wicks clean? If so, then you might try thinning your juice.
i have put maybe half a tank worth of liquid through it so far, and the wicks still look clean. the juice I'm using is already pretty thin, any thinner and i would call it water lol. I'm thinking maybe its just a being a little bit finicky.

If you vape too fast from a full tank you can get a vacuum that causes leakage. Easiest solution is to just fill your tanks halfway. Another way way is to invert every few vape during the first half of the tank and briefly loosen the base (which lets air into the tank). See if this helps.

ill give that a try thanks.

I would go with the single coil heads over the dual coils any day. I personally found the dual coil wicks too finicky.

tomorrow ill be heading to my local vapor store and grabbing both the single and dual coil heads. i also have an EVOD so if i don't like it i can always use it with that. the dual coils just seem like they vaporize the juice too fast, doesn't allow for the wicks to stay saturated for too long.

I used this tank for a bit. Worked perfectly for a while. I found it smoother than the Protank 2. Then, it became inconsistent within a 2-3 day period. I just haven't had much luck with Protanks in general. I wasted a lot of money with them over the past year. But, they key is regular cleaning between filling and coil continuous coil replacement. Just my experience.
