Protank base fits hypertank?

The threading on my hypertank is all screwed up (pardon the pun) so I'm looking for a relacement base. Unfortunatly I cannot find one anywhere, however I have found lots of replacement bases for the kanger protank. Does anyone have the protank and the hypertank and if so can someone tell me if the protank base is compatible with the hypertank?
