Threads on my Hypertank are... screwed

So yeah I don't know what happened but I came home one night after a few drinks and I realised that my hypertank wouldnt screw onto my Vamo (V5) anymore. I'm guessing it's because of the threads, so I want to get a new base, but all i can find are bases for the protank. Does anyone know if they will work?

This member said the air flow control base works with hypertank, so the kanger standard base should. 5 quid is not much for a test.

Are you sure it's the Hypertank and not the Vamo threads?

I have both and even though the protank coils fit the hypertank the bases are not interchangeable.

It's kind of unlikely that it's the tank, and much more likely to be the Vamo. Which is a good thing, as it's a much easier fix. Order an ego to ego adapter, it should be under $5.

Thanks guys, I just assumed is was the tank because I have an ego charger that still screws onto my Vamo. I dont have another tank to test the vamo so I'll probably just get a better BCC
