Protank coils in the Aero tank?

You will need something to act as a Seal Sleeve as the Aerotank tube is shorter. Yes they will Fit - if you can seal the chimney.

I put my mini protank coil right in the aerotank with no modifications needed works great. Idk if they have recently changed them to accept the single coils but I've had no issues.
i tried the mini protank 2 head on my aerotank and got mad leakage! i have the same problem because i want to try using a single coil in my aerotank and i can only find that dual coils work in the aerotank. someone please find me a single coil head that i can use in the aerotank with no mods!
That's weird. I tried using the base and coil on the aerotank and it worked. But I got curious ad tried the single coil in the aerotank. Screwed right in.
I have heard that you can take a PT coil and add a second upside down rubber seal to the chimney from another PT coil and it will seal on an Aerotank. I can't remember if it's right side up or upside down now that I think about it. YMMV...
The dual coils screw into the pt mini base but they don't fit into the tank because the head is taller. I heard about the oring on the chimney but I haven't had any reason to try it. Since I put the single coils in my aerotank all the leaking and gurgling stopped. It was unvapable out of the box
I guess this falls within the Kanger Tank family: Are the ProTank 2 coils interchangeable with mini Protank 2 coils and vice versa? I'm wanting to buy a mini pro tank 2 and kinda hoping I can buy replacement coils that will fit both tanks
I use PT/PT2/PT2mini single coil heads in my Aerotank all the time without gurgling or leaking. All you need to do is add a second grommet on top of the first (not inverted) and it makes it the same height as an Aerotank/PT3 dual coil head. To answer your other question, the Aerotank/PT3 dual coil heads will not fit in a PT/PT2/PT2mini because of the increased height of the dual coil head.
Sorry if the picture is a little fuzzy, but that's a rebuilt PT2 single coil head w/ an extra grommet for my Aerotank on the right, and a stock Aerotank dual coil head on the left.

Just wondered if it worked?
Have only had my Aerotank for 2 days. Original coil is fine. I just prefer single coil,uses less juice,battery.

The other day I took apart my pt3 coil and just threw a single micro coil inside and cotton. It works good and no gurgle or leaking.
I might try my pt2 coils in my 3 with my rubber grommet fix (blog) and report back.

My coils are the exact same length, only diffrence is that one is dualcoiled with more silica in it.
With that said my pro tank coils fits into aerotank without leaking, no extra grommet either.

It's authentic. Mine look the same way. They are taller because the slit in the base is taller to allow two coils to sit one on top of the other.
That's odd, mine arent. i did double check now, the stem on pt2 is just tiny tiny bit lower not much at all. Other than that they look the same, except for the dualcoil & wicking.
Any way pt2 coils works fine in my tank, maybe i were lucky.
