Protank & EVOD tank heads

Are the EVOD heads usable in the Protank? They fit but there is a small recess where the wicks sit below the base and I feel like this would lead to major flooding. Has anyone done this?

People have been using Evod wicks in Protanks since the Protank was released.

Check out Youtube for some excellent reviews and information on modifications.

I don't always interchange ProTank and EVOD heads, but when I do they work fine.

I tried it, put on my provari and didn't get a AO (ohms reading, i think). It does fit, and works for others, so I must be doing something wrong!

Yes, I assumed this, my question was more based on the statement about possible flooding due to how low the head would sit into the base

I was wondering the same thing, as I just ordered a few ProTanks (and a 5 pack of heads), but they look very similar to Evod heads in pictures and I've already got 15 of those sitting around...I guess I'll give it a try if/when I run out of the proper thing - so far I've only replaced 1 Evod head through 20-30 tanks of juice burned between me and the wife across 5-6 different clearos, and I'm not even sure that one replacement was necessary.
