ProTank for V4L / 808 ?

I have a DAV small and XL and wanted to get a ProtTank. On their forums someone said they got a ProTank with an 808 connection. I know I can get adapters, and if there's any advice for a decent adapter that tapers or looks decent to match the two, I'd love to know, but I'm also curious if anyone here knows of someplace that carries either a ProTank with 808 fitting or if there's a replacable piece I can get that'd make it fit without an adapter.

They will work on a 808 battery if it has ego threads.

I'm still new to this stuff, and have been confused by the ego threads. some 510 things seem to work with them, some 808 things seem to work with them.

does the V4L Dial-A-Volt have an ego thread?

It looks to be 510 so you need to get a 808 to 510 adapter. I have not heard of a 808 protank the adapter will cost you a couple of bucks.
