Here are some in-depth specs: PT2 vs PT3

Generally, I prefer single coils, having tried factory-made (PT3 and Aspires) and my own dual-coil set-ups. That said, dual coil set-ups do get more coil surface area overall, so the flavour might be positively impacted by that. In my own personal trials, I haven't noticed that substantial of a difference, but I'm sure others will chime in.

I am slowly converting over to RBAs and recoiling my Protank 2 and the DBox BCC Pyrex glassomizers. I find the DBox to be a better unit overall compared to the Protank 2. Why? Because it holds much more juice... about 4 ml. total plus I can use the Protank / Evod coil head in them too.

I use a 2mm ID 28 ga. Kanthal A-1 spaced microcoil build with cotton wick. No flavor wick on top and I get lots of vapor, better flavor, warm vape and NO GURGLING! When I change flavors, I just wash the tank assembly and pull the old cotton wick. Dry burn the existing coil to clean it of built-up gunk and then insert a new cotton wick. Most of my re-coiled builds for these BCC units are at about 1.2 to 1.3 ohms and they work well on both my SMOK ZMAX and my LAMBO v6.0 PV mods.

I also own an AGA T2 genesis-style RBA and a Taifun GT HCIGAR clone and just ordered a KAYFUN 3.1 HCIGAR clone. These I use 28 ga. Kanthal A-1 wire and cotton wicks. NO runs, no drips, no errors.
