Any experience? Recommendations?I don't want to fry my battery but the plastic clearos are killing me and I like the full sized PT; if it will work. My ego is not VV.
Protank II works fine on an eGo. It's better on a Twist/Spinner because the heads you get with them can be something of a random draw. 3.7V is rather high for a 1.8 ohm coil, but even that doesn't fry anything.
Protank Mini will work great on non VV/VW batteries (650Mah and larger)
...actually they will work on a Blu battery but not as long. I put a Aerotank on a Blu battery and it ran it for a few minutes LOL!
I am using the pro tank 3 on one right now.
Was kinda worried about how it might look because of the size difference but with the piece that comes with the tank that goes between the tank and the battery it looks okay and it seems to work just fine for me.
Personally, I don't like any high resistance on my eGo. I've been vaping it with 1.5 ohm iClear 16's, and my PT2 with 1.3 ohm cotton microcoil kicks on it pretty well.

Yeah but you have to keep in mind running low resistance on these eGo class batteries does shorten their lifespan. It's a cheapo, not high drain, ICR battery in there. It make me wonder how many of these "eGo batteries are crap they only last a month" posts are coming from people running lower than 2.0 resistance on them.
As is tradition; it's time for 3 hours of sleep and after I get some work done - I will reply; but a huge thank you to everyone for helping and sharing your experiences~! Side note, FF red spellcheck squiggly doesn't work on this site for me - so that's fun at this hour

Couldnt agree more, I've also got nothing to prove. I'm not entering the world's largest cloud contest. I can take seven hits in a row. I also hold my steam for much longer then the average felller. Dammit; I'm supposed to be going to sleep.

That's a great point. To be fair, I put the 1.3 PT2 on it for grins, since I have a mod as my primary now. I don't use it regularly under 1.5, that's territory reserved for the mod.

I like the lower resistance because the coil heats faster, runs a bit hotter causing a richer vapor, and the richer vapor gets better taste. IMO, of course. edit: airflow through the atomizer is key, as well. The PT2 is the most airy clearo I've used, and it allows me to vape hotter without getting a burnt taste, I find. Putting the same 1.5 ohm iC16 on my mod and running it any higher than the 8 or so watts I get on the eGo, just burns and tastes nasty, but the airflow sucks on the iC16 compared to the PT2.
