I am fairly new to vapeing, (2 months old), so I haven't tried a lot of things. I started with the go-go and moved on to the zmax 2 weeks ago. Until today my favorite delivery device was the vivi "neptune" nova, it did a good job wicking and produced good flavor and TH. I also tried the T2 and lots of cartos, didn't care for the T2 and mixed results with the carto's, (mostly good). Today I got my protank which is my first experience with a bottom feed tank and I love it. This tank is the best thing since sliced bread. Previously the highest I could take my zmax was about 11 watts in RMS mode with the neptune nova before I would get dry hits. With the protank I can max out the zmax at 15 watts and I get great hits and awesome flavor. I had to keep taking the tank off and checking to see if it was leaking it was wicking so good, it was not leaking. The take is made very nice with good threads and thick pyrex. No leaking issues and a fairly airy draw but it produces so much vapor it makes it perfect. A stainless tank would be nice but it really doesn't matter because it performs so well the only issue I can see is the chrome plating might wear off after a while showing the brass or bronze underneath. This is exactly what I have been looking for I am just upset I only bought one. I definately will be buying more of these for I have found the holy grail of delivery systems.

I've got to agree with you. I've tried about everything on the market and it is the best so far. I've been using it for over a week without a single dry hit or any leaking! It works that way right out of the box, just fill and vape and keep refilling and vaping wjthout any fuss!

Nice review. As for the airy draw...there's three air holes in the 510 connection. I'm going to attempt to plug one of them to see what difference it makes.

It doesn't have three holes like the Evod or T3 in the outside connector. It is slotted on the bottom but also has the three holes on the 510 connection like the vivi novas. I hadn't seen them until you mentioned it, I like the draw though the way it is but I've heard others think it is to airy.:)

I was a bit concerned with the airy draw at first. In an above post, I said I would plug one of the holes in the 510 connection...I ended up not. Some who did had problems with gurgling.

After a couple days with the Protank, I learned to like the light draw. It forced to take my time with the draw instead of drawing hard and fast like I did with analogs. The resulting flavor and throat hit were much improved.

I'm happy to hear so many positive things about the pro-tank, I have mine ordered. I am wondering about the "airy" draw though. Would an air flow controller adapter help with that? I'm using an ego-spinner (Which I REALLY like!) I like a little tighter draw. Thanks for the great review :thumb:

They say you can use an Evod head instead of the Protank head and that will tighten the draw. I haven't tried it being as I love it as is.:2cool:
