Evod heads in protank, aren't on the same level to the taste you get from the ones the protank give you. Example my cinnamon banana the cinamin is really subtle an blends with the other flavors on the defaults. I just taste cinamin on the evods.

I feel the opposite of you, and that the evod head gives me better flavor with my juices!
I recoil all my eVods and my protank.
Only difference I find is the draw is better on the protank but then I like airy draws!!!

I haven't tried running an eVod coil in a Pro Tank yet. I do notice a flavor difference between my eVods and my Pro tanks though. I've always attributed it to the difference in air flow between the two. My personal preference is the "airyness" of the Pro Tanks.
I have evods and Protanks and have tried every possible atty switch combination, eventually rebuilding my own 1.7-1.8ohm attys using 3mm silica wick and no flavor wicks, getting a "Punch in the Face" flavor using the rebuilt atty's in their original tank.
If I had to choose I would have nothing but Protanks and with my own atty rebuild. I imagine I eventually will be all Protank with a few evods for testing juices as I gift out my old eVod setups to relatives and friends to help them on the right path.
I like a lot of string juices that crack even the Evods so I figure why not stick with what works for me?
My point is, different strokes for different Folks, and all that matters is a great vape that keeps you off the cigarettes and affords you the most enjoyable experience you can have. Protanks do it for me. Find what works for you and stick with it!

I'll agree to an extent that evod heads make it more 'flavorfull' but so flavorfull that it focuses on the strongest flavor and blocks out the aftertastes an exhale tastes you'de maybe experience with the actual protank heads. If I had a generic watermelon or 1 solid flavor, I would probably wanna use the evods. But a complex flavor shines through better to me with the protank heads.

I rebuild the heads myself , neither the Evod or Pro Tank atty heads impress.
Decent build quality, I love the pyrex, wish I hadn't of bought 5 of these.
My AGA T+ and T2 hit SO much better, even with just xc-116 ceramic.....

I tried to use the evod coils but every time I do my spinner seems to short out. Any ideas ?
so just tried an evod head in my protank and I get no draw at all.
I use a sigellie Zmax 2.5 and had to loosen the tank a 1/4 turn to get any draw at all. I must say though that the flavor is better but the loose tank make me a bit nervous. Almost a bit to jiggly for me.
