I was thinking of getting a couple of Evods from Mt Baker Vapor but I noticed that the replacement heads they offer are protank heads...they advertise them as Protank/Evod heads. I have never used a Evod before but how do Protank heads work in them? I don't care if it has a airy draw and I actually prefer it. The only difference I can see between the two is that the Evod ones have a shorter post then the protank ones.

Thanks!

I have never used a protank head in my evod, but I use evods in the protank, and evod. I like the tightened draw. I believe they will fit right in. But if you save the shorter tubes that come on the heads in the evods, you can keep the top tubes and put them on any replacement head later on, protank, evod or T3S. I only have two evods, but I kept the short tubes and I can use them on the T3S heads, which are the only ones I buy since they work in all three tanks.

I use protank heads in my evod on my ego mini. I have had some weirdness using an 510 to ego adapter, but the mini is ego threaded and havent had issues yet. Actually using one now. Mainly because i dont have any evod replacement heads, but a bunch of protanks heads instead.

As yota says, you can switch the tube. Sometimes i do, sometimes not, works fine either way for me.
