Protected battery question

Hello,
I'm looking at getting my first mechanical, smoktech magneto, from my vapor store. Are the batteries that come with the kit protected?

Those are IMR style batteries, they have no protection built in. IMR is a high drain and safer chemistry type of battery.

You can click the battery link in the lower portion of the MVP site and then click APV batteries for a description of the batteries they sell.
