Protege stuck on

Suddenly my protege is stuck in the on position. I took everything apart and even put the switch back in without the silver button top to it and its still stuck firing when the battery is in..

Any suggestions?

is it a mechanical switch or a tact switch?

If it's a tact switch, it's shorted out and arced in the closed position.
If it's the mechanical swich, either the spring is missing allowing it to fall and touch the contact post or somethings binding it in the closed position.

unfortunately not. Inside that little micro swich the ring is arced across the post.
If you try to open it, it's trash.

You can send an email to PS and see if thay still have some tact switches.
If they do you can get one and solder it into place or send it in and have them do it.

The same thing happened to my Protege awhile back. If you are the original owner of it, Puresmoker offers (at least they used to) a free mechanical switch upgrade. Sign up to Puresmokers forum and check it out.

I'd like to place an order, but your website flashed that security page-Yes/no thing saying do you want to view unsecured page..I hit yes and it just stays there & won't let you place order...I hit no it does the same.
I know my settings are fine but I guess I can't place an order if it doesn't let me..
