Not Happy w/808 Adaptor for Protege.

Just got mine yesterday (thanks for the fast shipping). This thing has wayy too much air flow though. Now I am still a n00b with the 808 but with the normal batteries and PT I get a lot better vape out of it. With the Protege it is like sucking on air. Is there a fix for this or am I just stuck with it? As it is now I just will not use it and am back to the 510 on the Protege and factory batteries on the 808.

If you tap the center post down the least little bit you can modify the amount of airflow you get. I had one that needed a little tap (maybe ½ - 1mm) and another that was like baby bears porridge (Just right).

That's what I did to correct / customize mine. You may try it and see if it works for you.

Hey Fodder! Its come down to not being able to please everyone unfortunately We tried our best to find a happy median, but it may not please everyone.

You can try Brocks Suggestion by tapping the center post down and misaligning the holes ever ever so slightly ... that *may* tighten up the draw just a bit.

As good as the PureSmoker products are, not everyone will think they're perfect. I think they're damn close

Hi all. Thanks for the responses. I tried Brock's suggestion and it has improved the draw quite a bit. I am still messing with it trying to find the sweet spot but at least it is usable now. Thanks all for your help.
