Hey guys!

I have a question. I recently received my Protege and I also ordered a USB extension for it, so I can just replace the battery and vape while using my lap top, and also, because it has a bit more of voltage.

On the website, the picture shows a battery like part that goes inside the tube, and at the bottom, a metal cap (just like the original) that I thought it would just get screwed into the tube.

When I received mine, instead of a metal cap, it has a rubber part that it's not attached to the battery-looking component, and I am not sure of how to properly attach this to the Protege. I have been vaping but for me to do it, I need to hold it all together otherwise it just doesn't stay in place. I thought I wouldn't need to use my whole hand to keep both parts together, and also, everytime I set it down, it separates, as it's not attached.

Anybody else has this problem? Is there a trick to make this work, and finally, what happened with the metal part that was supposed to be there according to the pics?

Thanks!!

It can be a little tricky to get that rubber gromet to stay in the tube very well, their is a video on youtube showing you how to properly attach the adapter. Just search for "PureSmoker Protege Mechanical Switch and USB Extension"

When I put mine together I just take a large paper clip and use the rounded side to force the rubber gromet down into the tube, once you get it in there it stays on with no problem.

Hope this helps.
