Provari and ego threading

So after I placed my order tonight I read the reviews of the 510 to ego thread adapter that provape sells. They indicate that it does not work well with the Protank 2 mini. So is there a better adapter out there? All my tanks are protanks except for one. Would like to use what it have already. I will be trying an IBTanked tank very soon but still would like to be able to use what I already own.

Some say the eGo to 510 adaptor ProVape sells is better than ones other vendors sell, but I honestly found any of them to be very much different. I don't use eGo devices on my ProVari anyway, I use it with other mods.

ETA: I haven't tried a Protank mini, but there are some clearos that sit too low, even with an adaptor, and the airflow isn't very good.

You can try this - do you have a full sized ProTank? Put the bottom on the Mini. It's weird, but it basically works!
If you like that, you can buy extra ProTank bases for $2.
Or if you really love your Minis, you could get one of these. Pricey, but cool...

That's the best ProTank Mini solution I have seen for a 510 only mod... A lot better than a 510-eGo adapter, IMO

I had no idea that could be done. Thanks for sharing that. I might have to get some of those bottoms. I like my minis but dont like having to use the adapter to make them work. Makes changing things out a little harder.

Cool thanks everyone. I'm going to check out the protank base on the mini. See how that works and maybe order a couple more. The only reason I want to do this is right now I only have to keep one head on hand for repairs. I've seen where some other 510 tops will use the kanger heads. Gonna do some more research and go from there. And like I said it the original post I would like a couple IBTanked tanks so maybe I'll have to get a couple of those on the way!

I had the protank when I first got the provari and then ordered an ibtanked. I quickly realized what I was missing and the protank sits in the vape cabinet untouched. I know it's off topic but I urge you to order the carto tank sooner than later

I have a generic 510 to ego thread adapter which I picked up at a local vape shop for $3 and am vaping a mini Protank on it right now. Don't see much of a difference in resistance. It measures 2.6 on the ProVari with adapter and 2.5 on my KSD without
