I'm partial to the prive special. But I just don't see the value for money. It looks nice on the provari. They all do but in their range there are better tanks in my opinion as far as function. Also yes you have to remember this is USA made so there not just being piled up and nobody's workin for nothing. There are american workers making dollars for these.

Hm, this prive they are showing available for pre-order says it's the world's first top feeding tank. Is that just hype or something?

Oh I guess by top feeding they just mean that fill hole with the screw.

I'm thinking the same. You just don't pop the carto. You can get a glass tank with stainless caps for like $26. Also plenty of side screw tanks. They just don't impress me. Too much style and not enough function

I'm not meaning to be bragging here, merely making a point. I have 20 cartotanks in my collection. From 8 different tank manufacturers. They ranged in price from $15 to $100 when purchased. Know what my favorite tanks are? The $18 pyrex tanks from IBTanked. (Big surprise to my fans, huh?) :p

These are inexpensive yet high quality. I think they look great on the mods I have, which include a Provari (the middle two pics below). They are durable; they've survived several falls onto tile floor or the driveway, and no cracks or chips. I have seven of these. You can get a complete tank kit for $25 from IBTanked - Get Tanked With Us!.

And if you need real durable big daddy vapor sells some tanks that would be pretty durable. Higher price but I don't think it's higher than a prive and a lot more function. If you have the satin silver provari it comes in the procise finish. As you can see there's a lot of options with a lot of high points in different price points.

Edit: what size are those tanks on the provaris

The first pick shows an XL and standard side by side, 19mm diameter. The others are all XL length.

Below is a pic of a satin black Mini with a Who's Your Daddy tank from Big Daddy Vapor (not mine).

Good info on those ibtanks bad. That big daddy tank looks great on the provari. I think that's where my carto tank money is gonna go. Looks great and I need durable for when I don't have time to toss it in the toolbox
