Provari battery/power problem?

I've had my Provari for about 8 months now. Recently it has started prematurely blinking low battery signal. What I end up doing is untwisting the bottom cap back and forth a little, then tightening it back. Then I check the battery charge and it is fine. This is very recent (past week or 2). I have cleaned out the threads because I feel it must be something with the connection with the bottom cap. I also bought 2 new batteries from Provari about a month ago and they are being used when the problem happens, so its not the battery's.

Has anyone else had this happen? What can you do to fix the problem? I have friends considering buying the Provari but they see this and not impressed. Any advice out there?

I'd contact Provape . . . their Customer Service is outstanding.

Take the battery out and look into the tube at the positive contact on the edge of the circuit board
Do you see black spots on the contact?
I noticed this shortly after buying my first Provari
You should also see matching black spots on the positive battery terminal
If so, those black spots do not conduct electricity very well
The contact and battery positive terminal needs to be cleaned regularly

To clean the contact I use:
Pro-Grade Abrasive Fiberglass Pen : Fiberglass Pens | RadioShack.com

And to keep the contact clean I use:
Amazon.com: DeoxIT® GOLD Pen (NSN-6850-01-477-1478) 100% solution 6 mL: Electronics

A dab on the positive battery terminal about every 4 battery changes
Haven't seen any black spots since

Agreed with the others. You need to clean off the positive contact inside the tube. Then it will fire like brand new.
