*sigh*...so last night I accidentally threw my battery in backwards in my ProVari and totally shorted out the main switch..good thing my battery didn't blow up..I was actually holding it and noticed it was getting hot..I quick unscrewed the bottom cap and got the battery out..seems like the battery started melting as well as the contact point inside of the of the tube..I guess the reverse battery protection didn't kick in..I only use the aw imr 18490 batteries as suggested by ProVape..

well shortly after this was going on i shot an emal to ProVape..which was around 1230 am Hawaii time..ProVape shot an email back to me within 5 minutes..I was totally surprised..because..1...it's the weekend..and..2..Washington time had to be around 4:30 to 5:30AM when they answered my email..all I can say..ProVape has top notch customer service..

now comes the wait game..ProVape said that they would take care of my situation free of charge..now I gotta wait for them to receive my ProVari,,repair it..and send it back..I miss my ProVari already..

OMG!!!! That is Horrible!!!!

*Bows head in a moment of Silence for the Fallen Provari*

I do know for sure that they have amazing customer service from everything I have heard, read and experienced first hand. The price tag for one is definitely well worth the comfort of knowing that if something goes wrong it can and will be made right by Provape.

Here's hoping for a fast turn around time for you fellow Provarian;

Oh yes, I agree, I am currently saving up for the 24K Gold one, that way I do not just have a back up, I also have a spectacular show piece as well.

$299.00 is really not a bad price for it either. I have seen it up close and personal and it is beautiful. Worst case scenario though I am going to get a second one in chrome.

I had a single question when I first started looking into VV, I got an email back in about the same amount of time, roughly 5 to 10 minutes and it was a complete and detailed accurate answer.

David is an awesome businessman without a doubt. I fully Recommend them 100%.

i did the same thing..actually twice. i had a non-button top 18500 and i wasnt paying attention cause i was on my way out of the house. i felt my pocket get really hot and i took out the batt really quick. smelled burnt. no protection circuit kicked it but it still works fine. after that i began to mark the 18500's with a sharpie and put a big + on the side to make sure i want tripping out.

I looked down inside the tube..and the connector now sits off to the side..seems like the entire circuit board is melted..the plastic wrapper on my aw imr battery is also melted as well..the smell of burnt electronic plastic..no a very good smell knowing is coming off my ProVari..yep..i tried to fire it..no success..completely fried..

I'm not surprised at all.

I have only had a few contacts with Provape but each time they were prompt and gave me no run-around.
