Hey everyone! Convinced myself I've been an idiot for spending so (so very much) money on inferior products that repeatedly disappoint, and now I've placed an order for a nice new black satin ProVari, extension cap, blue LEDs and extended warranty. Ordered it on my birthday, couldn't be more excited! Yes, it's what I bought myself as a reward for being so awesome. I do have to spoil myself from time to time.

Well, what I want to do right now is assemble and order my "essentials" kit, everything I'll need to truly enjoy the provari without waiting for further shipping after testing and tinkering. I so badly need a distraction from watching the clock and my inbox. :p I have too many random items to really name them all easily, but I'll highlight what I currently have that may be useful for my ProVari:
  • DCT tank from madvapes (with some 2.0ohm dual coil tanks)
  • Variety of juices from Vapor Renew, Vaperite and BWB (RY4, Honey Flue and 555 exotic, haven't tried these yet!)
  • New Joye eGo-C kit with LR atomizer heads. Very underwhelmed.

The items I know I want:
  • Dripping atomizer(s). What resistance/voltage do you guys have luck with? What brands? Looking at the Smart Vapes bridgeless dripping atties and no idea which I should get.
  • Filler-less clearomizer/tank type of setup. For when I just want to screw something on and go, no fiddling. I have not been a fan of cartomizers in the past..
  • BUT, I do want to try out these Boge carts I hear so much about. I figure 3.0 in a tank or by itself is probably going to be hard to go wrong with.

And I have nooooo idea how I'm going to carry my provari and accessories around with me, so any suggestions you guys have I would love to hear. Actually, I'd love love LOVE to see pictures of carry solutions you guys have!

And please, let me know if I'm missing something important, or if you've had great luck with a certain setup/attachment or anything at all. I want to be as ready as I can be for my ProVari's arrival! (psst, all I want for my birthday is shipping confirmation, ProVape! :p)

as far as attys go, i used smoktech 3.0 ohm attys and they have been great, i have the same few in rotation for just over 2 months now. im not a carto/tank user. but when i bought my provari i bought
provari
pila charger
2 batteries
10 attys
a few drip tips
a drip shield

as far as my daily carry, i just carry my provari and a bottle of juice in my pocket. the 18490 battery last me from wake up till bed time. and im good with that. i don't feel the need to carry a ton of stuff around all the time.

So you drip throughout the day? I've not been incredibly thrilled with the idea of constant fiddling while I'm out and about, but on my (inferior) other mods I do enjoy dripping at home. I'm really intrigued with bridgeless drip-specific atomizers in particular. I've never tried debridging one on my own, and drip shields are new to me entirely.

Do you just tote your provari in your pocket? I use this case to carry my eGo-c and a couple of accessories.

yeah i just carry my provari in my pocket, i wear basketball shorts most of the time so the pockets are big. i drip pretty much exclusively. once in a while a carto, but with my drip shield i can put like 8 drops in the atty and that lasts me whatever car ride im taking in town, a couple drips before i get out of the car. a couple drips in the grocery store. who knows. i only use cartos on long car rides as i don't like them that much

I just got my new case & sleeve today. I was carrying my provari in my pocket but it was getting small scratches.

Nice holder man!
Is it black leather? - Is it soft inside as to not scratch the nice finish?
If you don't mind saying... where'd you pick it up and what's the price tag on it....

Thanx man.

Peace-

I got it at http://www.serenitygear.com
They are custom made to however you want them. You can choose decorations, leather color, stitching color. They even make them to fit tanks.

They aren't lined but it isn't rough either. They are excellent quality, couldn't be happier. I had already dropped my pv out of my pocket a few times, didn't hurt it but it did scratch the finish a little.

Prices are low for the quality. I paid more for my cell phone case & it's mass produced rubber and plastic.

Now I can keep it protected.

Thanx Daunting, I appreciate the quick response. Gonna go check it out now.

On another note, I'm going to look into those attys you guys posted above. I'm actually waiting for the next round of the Odysseus to hit the market and been searching the classifieds for one in pristine condition. No luck as of yet. I don't really want to get the iAtty original - I've seen a couple here and there for sale.

I like to building my own coils. Anyone know of a really good repairable atty (that one can actually acquire without a 3 year wait) aside from the Odysseus, iAtty, UFS Patriot, A2-T or Genesis...? Or if someone has an Ody they're willing to part with.... ? Just taking a shot in the dark here... :)

Was going to order a batch of those new Vision Clearomizers to hold me over until I found an excellent quality repairable atty that I liked. I read that they last fairly long as long as you don't hammer them or use the acidy juice too often in them...cracks the plastic. - Not wanting to stray from topic here, but any thoughts on these....

Peace-

Cisco 306, i06, 357 are all good Atty's no doubt about it, I think it boils down to personal preference, I get more flavor from a 510 357 myself but YMMV as everyone is different and likes different, there isnt any one that is #1 as of today anyways, we all have our own likes and dislikes, best advice I can give you is order 1 of all 3 in a 1.5 ohm and see what tickles your fancy best :)

Thanks MWA...
I hear you on the personal preference. I definitely want Max flavor and a minimal, if any, tinkering, adjusting or flipping the device just to achieve a few decent hits on a row.

I realize this probably isn't the thread to ask, but question on LR / SR / and HR atty's pertaining to higher / lower percentage VG levels while burning the juice.

Q: Would you want a LR atty with mid voltage to burn a thicker juice for not sacrificing flavor and gumming up the atty and chamber - or - a HR atty with higher voltage for burning a thicker juice?

Also, I would imagine if the above statement is valid - the opposite would be true for a thinner or higher PG juice?

Appreciate the insight.

LR SR And HR are resistance levels . LR means low resistance which is 1ohm 2ohm . SR Standard resistance 3 ohm .HR High resistance 4,5 ohm . LR is for lower voltages (3.7mods) SR is mid range (3.7-6) HR is usually used with stacked batts where your running 6+volts. Those are all on average.

Gotcha Str8.
Thanks for the information. I do understand the variances with ohms, voltage and wattages.

My actual question is how do all these variable ohms and voltages affect the flavors of a higher and lower VG based liquid.

I just hope that I am making myself clear in my question.
