I posted a message earlier but forgot to ask a question about the Provari..Can you use a dual coil tank on them? Also what can I use for tanks, cartomizers and what should I not use? I have only used the 808 auto batteries and the provari is going to be a whole new ball game for me and want to learn as much as I can before my order gets here so I know what to buy besides the one tank that come with it.:D

You can use dual coils, but most people use single coils. As for tank options, there are many. Most people start with:

The Kanger ProTank 2. Recent batches from Kanger have had airflow issues on the ProVari, and so people that use them have also purchased
The Aero airflow base or just switched over to the Kanger Aerotank entirely.

Others choose to go with punched cartos and cartotank setup. There are many different cartotanks out there, but most people use IBTanked cartotanks

If you want to start using rebuildable atomizers, the Kayfun Lite + is one of the best choices out there, though it will look slightly strange on a ProVari unless a beauty ring/pro ring is also purchased to give a flush look to the ProVari/Kayfun combination.

I've listed only the most popular combinations...anything with a 510 connector will work on the ProVari, and if you prefer clearomizers, MT3's, or Evods, a 510 to Ego connector will let those work on the ProVari too.

For ease of use while retaining plenty of flavour, I would thoroughly recommend an IBTanked cartotank. I have an Aerotank which I probably have used the most, but I do favour the cartotank much higher.

RDA's are a lot of fun to play around with builds. You can get away with simple wire wrapped around a silica wick, or microcoils and cotton. Dual coils will work just fine, as long as they are above 1 ohm as RoseB mentioned. Sub ohming is definitely the fortè of mechanical mods! If you can get these three toppers, you will learn an awful lot about what you like and don't!

Hello :) I've used dual coil cartomizers on my Provari. You should be good as long as you're not going sub-ohm.

See all this new stuff kinda scares me as on the batteries I have now I just puff on them and the provari is way different and not sure how to work the settings and don't wanna burn anything up like myself or the house..lol

The Provari is incredibly safe compared to a lot of other devices. If you have a short, it will tell you and not allow you to use it. If your coils resistance is too low, it will tell you and not allow you to use it. When your battery is low, it will tell you way before it gets critical and shut down. Don't worry about anything like that, just push the button and enjoy! :)

I have tank now and I use a punched in carto in it, I guess that is what it's called, it's a clear tank ya fill and ya use a cratridge in it and just keep filling up the tank when it gets down..I don't know everything about this stuff, just know how to use the stuff I have now..Been reading a bunch of stuff and researching the lingo so i know what everyone is talking about..lol

Almost everyone who owns a Provari thinks the same, you're not alone :D

I'm a sucker for various toppers and ordering too much juice, but as far as devices go, I'm perfectly happy with the Provari most of the time, Smok Magneto for going where the Provari won't, and my trusty old Ego-T for carefree work vaping!
