Provari LED stays lit and displays "8"

Hi,
this morning I found my Provari with the second LED lit, showing "8.":

The LED stays always lit when it should be off; other than this the unit works perfectly, has anyone experienced this issue?

I also tried to clean the positive pin and different AW batteries, do you think a good isopropyl alcohol wash could help or should I send the unit directly to Provape for a repair?

After a bit of "debugging", I found out that when the display should be off, the right cell stays lit and displays the last digit displayed in the left cell; for example, if I go to the "Pd" menu and select "3.9.", the right cell stays lit and displays "9.", if I select "--" the right cell displays "-" and so on, doesn't look good

other than the obvious badness, i kinda wish mine did that. is that a cobra?
