Carrying on from my last thread, I've ordered an iTaste V3 and a Zmax V5, which I'm still waiting patiently for.

A friend just bought an iTaste 134 mini and now I want one as well.
I've found one for £75 here in the UK.

But I also want a Provari mini v2.5!!!

I like the looks of the iTaste 134 and I want it more for the novelty factor than anythin else.
Somethin to bring out when I have people round.

My sensible side is telling me to go with the Provari for obvious reasons.
The addict in me is telling me to get both:/

I dont need either but I want them both.
There is somethin seriously wrong with me.

Please discuss.

Kind regards,
Swat

You have GAS..... Gear Acquisition Syndrome. If you like both and can afford both then by all means, get both. Besides, you need back ups for your back ups!!! I don't have a iTaste 134 but I do own a Provari and can say that you will not be sorry with it. I'm sure someone will come along with opinions on the 134. I'm sure it is a great product as well since innokin makes some great mods.

Thanks for the replies guys, I am definitley suffering from GAS!

I'm tryin to justify it in my head by telling myself, all this gear would've paid for itself in four months, since I'm spendin less on analogs.

Its not even that I have much disposable income.

Its like this with everythin I take up, I jump right into the deep end and sometimes end up regrettin it.
I bought a small Cichlid fish tank once, and within the space of a month, I wanted to be a professional and get myself a saltwater coral set up (hard work, lots of maintainance and very pricey, as opposed to a fresh water).

Will update you guys on what I decide to do:)

To think I'm still on an ego t.

God help me.

You'll never have your peace of mind back till you actually get both of them. I got both, but the full size versions, and I am not regretting it. Both are great devices..hefty..reliable..excellent performance and they do look cool (especially the SS versions).

I own both of the full sized versions as well and I do not regret having either. If you need an excuse Swat just think of it this way...the provari is a variable voltage mod and the 134 is a variable wattage mod...wouldn't it be nice to own the best in each category? ;)

I personally don't see the point of the 134 mini. If you want a small size, the 134 is hardly the smallest mod out there. If you want something crazy, the full size 134 delivers more of that than the mini does.

Of course you might have a weak spot for miniature craziness... :D In that case I have nothing of value to add.

You guys are just as crazy, if not more so!

@Dampmaskin - yeah, I was looking at the big one as well.
Head says go with the big one, it only makes sense, but the heart wants the minis:)

I think I'm going to go with both actually.

One final question guys, I've got two options for the Provari:

1. Buy new from VapeGear (I'm assuming they are the cheapest in UK?)

Or

2. Buy secondhand (a week old device to be precise) from ebay for £160 which includes this description:
"Also included in this sale is the Provari Mini extension cap, also in Satin Silver to allow the use of 18490/18500 batteries.

I am also including a genuine Atmistique Stainless steel "Twins" extension from Germany allowing the use of 18490/18500 as well as 18650 batteries. I am also including a genuine Svoemesto Kayfun ring - really completes the look of a Kayfun on top of the mod.

All the above configurations are pictured.
(Please note - the Kayfun Lite Plus is NOT included - for illustrative purposes only).

This is a really comprehensive package for anyone looking to buy a Provari.
It is in Pristine condition, practically brand new - hardly used.
This is a stunning device.
The total RRP of this whole package would normally set you back around £215."

I'm leaning more towards buyin it new cause of the warranty, the issue is that I hardly doubt there'll be problems with it within one year, which will make the warranty factor a moot point.

Which makes the ebay one sound like a good deal.

Would appreciate your thoughts on this, any thoughts at all.

As always, many thanks to all of you guys that have posted here, the welcoming feeling here is the best I've experienced in all of the forums I frequent:)

Edit: ok, this is actually the final question (or so I hope)
What colour, SS or black?

That does make alot of sense, considering the amount of money involved.
I think it's worth paying that extra amount for piece of mind, choice of colours etc

Thank you again kind sir, very much appreciate your input:)

After these, I'm going to stop buyin mods for awhile (hopefully)
and start on a project, makin a nice and big metal case to showcase them all.

I've seen some members creations here and they have inspired me to go down this route.

Will definitely do a comparison once I have both in my hands.

Thanks again guys and enjoy the rest of your day:)

The black looks great in pictures, but the SS IMO is way better in reality. AND I have to agree with going for the full sized one. The smaller version is ...umm..."cute"..but the bigger one is a statement..actually THE statement ;)

As for the ebay deal..it's definitely good IF the seller is trustworthy. Having said that I'd buy it brand new from a recognized official vendor that issues a receipt and a warranty just in case. Besides, when you buy it brand new you have the option of choosing the color of your Provari (again, I would go for a SS with blue LED rather than the satin silver..that's what I got after considering the black one).

I would have to agree with everyone else and go for the a new one from a genuine dealer. Provaris are not often prone to having problems but with ebay you just never know. I would rather pay the extra for peace of mind. With that said I got mine in SS with a blue LED screen as well. Since the majority of the tanks out in the market right now are silver or steel, it would look better with most of the tanks you would use with it imo.

I have a regular provari and the 135 mini. Hands down the provari is better. Battary lasts longer and a smother vape. The 134 mini is cool in form but lacking in function. The only upside is can as the ego connection. The provari needs an adapter. Had I bought the provari first a would have not got the 134.
