So I'm never really 100% contempt with my current vaping components. I went from 1 full size provari v1 2 weeks ago, to now 3 provaris' total. I've recently purchased a silver mini v2 with an E2 error that had to be sent off to provape for a board replacement. (65$ and 7 days total from the day I shipped it (from SC to WA) and they changed the led color from red to green at no extra charge). While the mini was being repaired I bought another used v2 silver mini, this one with a blue led.

So now I have three silver provari with all three led colors they offer. I'm thinking that since I will always have a backup I want to have each powder coated a different color. The mini with the green led I gave to my girlfriend to replace her vamo v2, so color choice is ultimately her decision. But anyone want to offer up any ideas for colors and possibly prices for places that can do a good job powder coating? I have yet to find anyone local that has any information online with prices and past coatings they have personally done.

Dont they have to sandblast the surface before they can apply a powder coat? also wont it change the dimensions slightly and effect the tolerances. Can they do it an protect the threads? I know nothing but i seek knowledge. Good luck, i hope it works. i would love to see a deep blue provari with a nice thick powder coat.

BE Careful... Powder Coating requires a baking process depending on the color/chemistry. The electronics inside may not be happy being baked.

Here is hoping that anyone thinking of doing a custom paint job on any mod is also smart enough to realize that they have to completely disassemble it and only paint the body.

Yeah I already knew that and that's not a big issue. When I bought the Provari Mini from the classifieds that needed a new board it literally only took 5 minutes from the time I opened the package to completely disassemble it.

I second the wrap idea:)

They're reliable, consistent & durable. That's what I love the most. It also doesn't hurt that they're reparable at what I consider to be a highly reasonable price.

Chimney I see you every where lol... Also i have to agree i think those look awesome the way they are... But Black always looks great too...
