So I've been vaping a little over a year now. I first started out with a basic E-Cig kit called the Volt fromSmokelessImage[1] . I used that for about 10 months until I recently started using a newer battery the X2[2] since the starter was losing my interest. The X2 has been better but I still feel I need more. So I finally decided to go all out (sort of) and get a Provari. Just wanted to know what you guys thought of my first set up.

  • Polished Stainless Steel ProVari™ Variable Voltage V2.5
  • MultiCharger
  • 18650 Extension
  • Two 18650 AW IMR batteries
  • Blue Display and LED
  • AGA-T3 Rebuildable Atomizer (RBA) with Pyrex tank by Youde Technology
  • Middle Finger 510 Drip Tip
  • Genuine Ekowool
  • Length: 6 feet + 10' Kanthal
  • Diameter: SCN-1.5 Silica Core 1.5±0.3
  • Kanthal Wire Bonus Gauge: 32GA A1 AWG

I have an AGA-T2 and I really like it, but be warned that it (as with all Genesis mods) can be a little tricky to get going initially especially if you are still getting used to coiling. I might recommend you spring for something simple and plug 'n play like an Aerotank so you have a backup too. I think I paid $28 at our local B&M, so they're not outrageously expensive and for a clearo they're pretty good.

Pick up a dripper too - they are very cheap, very easy to learn how to build coils on, and are really amazing for flavor. IGO-Ws are very cheap and have a big deck.

The middle finger's cute and all but in the long run I think the shape would make it not very comfortable for constant use. Grab something else that's simple, too - lots of acrylic options out there.

No comments on the Provari, we have two polished and a satin black in the family :D

Great suggestions man, thanks. So I think its safe to say dripping is more common to do at home correct? Being that you have to add drops every so often. Is it really that much of a difference? Is this something people do when they are out and about?

As for the middle finger, I just wanted to have the plastic feel that I am use to and thought the middle finger was cool. Definitely gonna look into other options.

I'm sure nothing needs to be said about the Provari. I read enough into it to know I made the right choice.

Lots of good resource information on RBA's and the AGA-T2 specifically in this blog:

INFORMATION RESOURCES FOR YOUR FIRST RBA

Nearly everything you'd want to know about a Provari in this blog:

WHY PROVARI?

Have a backup juice attachment that you can depend upon (clearomizer or cartotank) until you have your rebuildable up and running consistantly. It may take a couple of rebuilds before you have one fit for consistant vaping.

As usual, great advise Baditude.

I especially like your advise about getting a good backup juice delivery system while you learn to use the rebuildable.

I'm "considering" going the RBA myself. I've tried rebuilding my Kanger heads, and my eyesight and manual dexterity just isn't what it used to be. RBA's seem to have "more room" to work with. When I first tried rebuilding my Kanger heads, if I didn't have a nice vaping Mini PT 2 that I could suck on while I tried to re-coil I would have gone nuts.

I've given up on the recoiling and simply replace the flavor wicks and occassionally dry burn the coil to de-gunk it. I can coax a couple months out of a head with some healthy cleaning and dry burning.

I can't believe how stingy that sounds. Trying to coax a couple more weeks out of a $1.75 head.

And a +1 to the OP for his choice of the Blue LED. I love those...so much more "relaxing" than the harsh red ones. Of course my MVP 2 and VV3's have blue LED's on them so I'm sure to be partial....

Looks like a great order to me! Just make sure you have something to vape while building the coils like the others said. I bought the AGA T2 and right away got 2 more. I would love to try the kayfuns with all the hype but I really do love how easy SS mesh is. I have been going for probably 2 months now on the same wick. It's just so easy because it never gets burnt.

just don't drip and drive. :)
