Hi,

I bought my Provari Mini two months ago from a friend of mine, and so far it is working perfectly. Anyway i noticed that the button is a bit off-center once any battery is inserted, there are no problems with the firing of the button. I contacted Provape and they informed me that they could repair it, but the shipping prices are way to high.

I wanted to ask you if you have noticed such "problem" and if i could expect any real issue, or the misplaced button will just "hurt my eyes" without causing any problems with the opertaion of the unit.

Thank you.

Hi and welcome!

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're having. There have been issues with some ProVaris having board movement. The board is only attached inside with a spot of glue. The button isn't attached to anything, it's held in place by the board, so if the board shifts, the button moves. As long as it's firing there shouldn't be any more problems, unless the board moves further.

If you're feeling brave at some point, you could fix it yourself.

Thanks for the reply and the welcome!

I do not think that the board would move any further, i see in some vids etc. that there is some little pin on a spring on top of the board, i think that the meovement is limited by the movement of the spring in the pin, i just wanted to ask if anybody else is having the same issue, and if it gets "worse". An "experienced" Provari user, once told me that this issue is only cosmetical, but i just wanted to gather some more opinions.

Thanks once again.

I sent mine in for the same problem and they replaced the whole board and gave it a good cleaning. Shipping is 6 bucks ...for me it was well worth it and my Provari looks and works like new. You will be amazed by the differnce of the button.

The OP is in Bulgaria, shipping from there is expensive.
