I got my new provari today and put the battery in the charger and it turned green right away. Then I put it into the provari, I can not turn the thing on. I went to get the manual from provape and did what it said to do and still I can't get it to turned on. Any suggestion? Thank you for any help ahead of time.

Hi

Five clicks to turn it on. The button doesn't light up, if that's what you are looking at. Does it fire? If not, try cleaning the battery contact (the metal bit inside of the tube). Technically it should be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol, but in a pinch I scrape it off with my fingernail or a pencil eraser. Also, clean off the contacts on the battery itself (I rub them with a paper towel). The next thing to try is to pull the bottom spring up a bit.

What Type and Brand of Battery are you using? Is it an 18350 Flat Top or a Button Top?

Good point! Flat-top batteries won't work in the earlier models of Provari; only button-tops will. They should also be an IMR high drain battery, not an ICR protected battery. Provape always recommends using the red AW IMR brand.

Good suggestions by Ocey about cleaning the contacts and pulling on the spring in the end cap.

If all else fails, contact Provape. Their customer service is great.
